Giant flowers at L’Illa Diagonal in Barcelona
With the arrival of spring, the L’Illa Diagonal shopping centre in Barcelona was transformed into a suspended garden full of colour and lightness.
The project involved the design, production and installation of 40 giant flowers measuring 2 x 2 metres, suspended more than 10 metres high. Each piece was handmade with 140 g Cartotecnica Rossi paper, chosen for its strength and colour quality.
The result? A space that invites you to look up, to pause and to experience your surroundings in a different way. An installation designed not only to decorate, but to create experience and memories.
A project where paper art expands to a large scale to inhabit the space, shaping the giant flowers of L’Illa Diagonal in Barcelona as part of a suspended landscape that transforms the visitor’s journey.
