Creating art on the streets of your own city is one of those joys I love, and if it’s in one of its most iconic spots, I’m over the moon.
In July, during Madrid Craft Week, we had the chance to create giant flowers in the famous Plaza de Santa Ana, bursting out of the new DS3 Crossback from car brand DS. The four stems, each giving rise to 2 or 3 flowers, stood on flexible structures so they could reach out of the windows where, by surprise, colour sprouted.
Diana and I, Marta, spent a really fun week with Cartotecnica Rossi’s incredible crepe paper which, unlike other brands, folded with amazing ease, revealing dreamy waves.
We hope you like the result as much as we do! We’re already looking forward to creating giant flowers again to fill spaces with magic.
