A paper leaf sculpture for Marqués de Murrieta at the Caja Mágica
Together with Marqués de Murrieta, this year we had the opportunity to create a large-format art sculpture at Madrid’s Caja Mágica during the Mutua Madrid Open. The project involved creating a great sculptural wave of Tempranillo leaves running along the walls of the exhibition space.
The installation was built on a metal mesh structure as a base, onto which we applied hundreds of paper pieces cut one by one. For this work we used Fedrigoni Sirio Pearl paper.
The result was an immersive art installation combining paper art, sculpture and spatial intervention, creating a dynamic visual effect that accompanied the brand’s story and its bond with wine. The paper Tempranillo leaves intertwined to form waves along the stand’s walls, creating movement and depth.
During the event, lighting played a key role, casting shadows and reflections that highlighted the different layers of the sculpture and evoked the variations of each vintage.

This sculpture for Marqués de Murrieta at the Caja Mágica was an especially exciting project for us, both for its scale and for the technical and creative challenge of building it on site.
