A paper flower photocall for the coronation of Charles III
As part of the celebrations held in Madrid for the coronation of Charles III, the British Embassy hosted a large official party, and we were lucky to be part of it by creating one of the event’s star elements: a photocall designed entirely with handmade paper flowers and leaves.
For this project we developed a very colourful composition made up of hundreds of paper pieces, inspired by the floral and festive aesthetic of the celebration. The goal was to create a striking, elegant space that would serve as a backdrop for guests’ photos while conveying the attention to detail of our work.
Each flower and leaf was made one by one in our studio, playing with textures and different shades to achieve the goal. We love this kind of set-up because it completely transforms a space and turns paper into something unexpected.
Beyond the creative work, it was a very special experience to collaborate on an event of this scale with wonderful teams and to see the photocall come to life during the celebration. We thoroughly enjoyed both the process and the final result.
