Origami workshop: an underwater world made as a team
To close the school year we went to the school in El Boalo with a very simple idea: fill the classrooms with creativity, paper and teamwork.
With pupils in Years 1 and 2 of primary school we ran an “origami workshop: an underwater world”, where they created small pieces that, little by little, built a huge seabed of seaweed and aquatic shapes that ended up covering the school walls.
We love seeing how, when everyone contributes their little piece, the result becomes something much bigger.
Meanwhile, with Marta’s illustrations, we completed the space with whales and fish that brought the whole scene to life and helped build the underwater world we dived into that day.
It was a fun, chaotic and very beautiful day, the kind that reminds us why we love working with paper so much.
