Giant paper fish at Porto Pi
We let ourselves be carried away by the tide again… this time to Mallorca, where the Porto Pi shopping centre was transformed into a suspended ocean of paper.
For the reopening of the centre, we created three giant mobiles of paper fish made up of more than 2,900 pieces hanging beneath the skylights, filling the galleries with movement, rhythm and colour.
The installation was carried out with the Sr Pato team and supported by large truss structures that allowed the whole composition to float in the air as if it were really underwater.
The result was a space completely flooded with moving shapes, where paper turned the shopping centre into an unexpected seascape full of paper fish.
We love it when projects grow this big and end up completely changing how we look at an everyday space.
