Creative paper swatch book: “Metamorphosis” for Fedrigoni
Some commissions let you take creativity to the max. The Metamorphosis project, a new swatch book of papers with a high percentage of recycled content, was one of those special occasions.
From a wide selection of papers, we chose different varieties with unique characteristics to design a conceptual piece: butterfly wings symbolising transformation, lightness and the flight of the material itself. These wings come together in a card that holds them, as if they were about to take off.
The project was built from a careful selection of technical and creative papers, playing with textures, finishes and the specific properties of each material:

The swatch book was sent to more than 1,400 users, who could discover and experience the richness, texture and quality of these unique papers.
This project was developed in collaboration with the Fedrigoni team, whom we thank for the opportunity to take part in this creation as guest artists, exploring paper as a creative, sensory and sculptural material.
