Between 14 and 19 September, the shops of Alcobendas welcomed 25 artists who filled the city’s streets with colour.
Missmsmith took part in this edition by installing its project at Herbolario Lavanda, an emblematic shop in the heart of the town run by Liliana who, during lockdown, organised a spectacular food drive for the neighbours most in need.
«Wave of Solidarity» is inspired by Hokusai’s «The Great Wave», filled with simple drawings of the shop’s food and of the items collected during those days, to honour an act that meant so much in such strange times. The work is made with paper and marker on glass.
All the works will remain on display for 15 days longer than initially planned due to the new COVID-19 measures.
