From 11 to 17 November, the capital hosted the first edition of Madrid Craft Week, in which we took part as guests of Déborah Abizanda’s studio. As in other cities like London or Paris, the event aimed to highlight the city’s craft makers who wanted to share their processes and work with the public.
During the week we presented «Frágiles» (Fragile), our collaborative collection with Déborah Abizanda that we’re very proud of, with a first piece in several colours combining the artist’s ceramic creations with our paper flowers.
On the same days, a paper and ceramic mural hung on the walls of Déborah’s shop-studio and, to complete the cycle, on Saturday there was a public talk in which we both spoke about «How to be creative and not die trying». From our point of view and experience after leaving our careers in the audiovisual sector, we discussed with the attendees the strengths and weaknesses we’ve faced along the way. It was a great morning in which we shared and met other future entrepreneurs eager to take the leap! Thank you all for coming 🙂
